The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® seeks to empower communities worldwide to make sustainable change by supporting initiatives that alleviate extreme poverty, improve quality of life, and ensure basic human rights.
dōTERRA empowers people and communities worldwide by providing the tools needed to become self-reliant. We do this through our collaborative impact partnerships, facilitating community development projects in Co-Impact Sourcing® communities, and by empowering Wellness Advocates to engage in good in local and global community projects they care about.
We are careful what charities we donate to, but we are confident in supporting the Healing Hands Foundation because we know 100% of our donation actually goes directly to HELP the people who need it: doTERRA covers the overhead costs of running the Foundation to ensure all donations go directly to the recipients and not to pay anyone's salary.
Have you ever had to walk through crocodile infested waters to get to school? We sure haven't. Benjamin and I were honored to travel to Kenya and participate in this ceremony donating this bridge to the local community, which allows kids to cross this river without encountering crocodiles on their way to school.
The bridge was made possible through donations from us and countless others to the Healing Hands Foundation. It took dōTERRA a long time to build trust in this community because so many “Humanitarian” organizations had infiltrated and exploited the village in previous years.
While in Kenya, we were able to volunteer at the local school. Benjamin and I have been lucky enough to lend a hand on 3 different Continents.
We spent time with the local Chief and government officials of Coast Province, Kenya! They shared gratitude that we were assisting them in investing in their community. It was so fulfilling to connect with them and witness how appreciative they are.
